Chase is an associate attorney at Smith, Meier & Webb and focuses his practice on litigation. Chase primarily handles matters involving civil litigation, criminal defense, domestic relations, appellate advocacy, and estate planning.

Chase is a Warren County native and graduate of Springboro High School. Chase attended the Ohio State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. He then attended the University of Dayton School of Law, where he obtained a Juris Doctorate.

While attending the University of Dayton School of Law, Chase was a member of the leadership honors program, a student ambassador for the university, and a member of the moot court board. Chase competed in national moot court competitions during his second and third years of law school and was awarded best oral advocate in the 2019 Regional Competition. He received a CALI Award of Excellence for achieving the highest score in his class in Civil Procedure, Family Law Practice, and Estate & Tax Planning.

During law school, Chase worked as a law clerk at the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office, where he worked in the appellate and felony criminal divisions. He then worked for a year at Dyer, Garofalo, Mann & Schultz in Dayton, gaining experience in personal injury and catastrophic injury cases and writing appellate briefs. During his last year of law school, he worked as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Judge Donald E. Oda II in the Warren County Common Pleas Court general division, where he assisted in civil and criminal matters and observed jury trials.

In January 2020, during his third year of law school, Chase joined Smith, Meier & Webb as a law clerk. He worked as a law clerk until he passed the bar exam in the winter of 2020 becoming a third-generation lawyer in his family.
